Artistic Director
Kerric T. Baird
Kerric joined the group as a ringer in 2006. He was appointed by the group to be its Artistic Director in the Fall of 2017. Kerric began ringing handbells in 1995 and over the years has been involved with bells as a ringer, soloist, and director. He has directed handbell choirs in Washington DC at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church and St. Columba’s Episcopal Church.
Music has always been a passion of Kerric’s. He attended a performing arts high school in Detroit. Prior to discovering handbells, he was a singer in various church choirs.
For love of handbells, Kerric has attended Distinctly Bronze and participated in a Master Class in Conducting facilitated by Dr. William Payn.
Kerric works as a senior executive of a commercial construction company in Washington DC which focuses on building communities with projects including schools, libraries, recreation centers, and homeless shelters.
